June Greetings!

Can you believe that we are starting our last month of school? It has been an unusual, but good year. We have a lot of tasks to accomplish and final details to complete. I am writing you to clarify our June/Final partnership/conferencing schedules, legal educational processes, as well as how this year’s text book returning will be processed.

Partnership/Conferences (Final Progress Reports J)

First I want to let you know about the modifications to the original school calendar due to the extension of school days. I have talked to many of you about conference days and times but want to make sure everyone is informed.

A Week May 30-June 2

B Week June 5-June 9

C Week June 12-June 16

D Week June 19 & 20

D Week; Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday appointments need to be confirmed or rescheduled by you in person or via email as soon as possible. If I don’t hear from D Week; Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday families before D week, I will be planning to meet with you on our regular schedule day and time, even though there is no school.

I must meet with every family to finalize this year’s files. Remember that you are the record keeper for your student’s educational progress. If we don’t meet, you won’t have the final progress reporting papers for your student. River HomeLink is a non-graded school and does not maintain your student’s records.

Book Returns:

We have a new check out and return system for our student textbooks. As we learn to navigate the return of textbooks with the new system, I am having the students return textbooks one at a time. An additional benefit to having the students return the books one at a time is that they will not be carrying so much weight. Here is the schedule.

Book Return Schedule:

Monday/Tuesday, June 5/6th – 6th Grade Math Books

- 5th grade check with Mrs. Polyakov

Thursday/Friday, June 8-9th – 6th Language of Literature

 - 5th McGraw Hill Reading (orange)

Monday/Tuesday, June 12/13th – Our Nation (history) all students.

Thursday/Friday, June 16/17th – All Write (black, grammar resource)

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to stop in or email me.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Eiseman

December 14, 2016

Greetings,

You are receiving this email because I have not met with you, or received your December progress reporting paperwork.

It is very important that you communicate your student’s home learning progress before Friday, December 16, 2017.

There are several different methods to communicate your student’s progress.

1.Download/print one of the attached documents and then…

      a.  Fill it out and drop it off
   b.  Fill it out and return it via email.
   c. Take a picture of the completed document and send it by email.
2.  Send an email that includes all of the learning successfully completed during December.

Thank you for getting this getting this taken care of. I look forward to receiving your email.

Have a wonderful winter break. Merry Christmas!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Eiseman

Dear Families,
I hope you are enjoying December’s variety of activities and weather related challenges.

As you have noticed the conferencing schedule is doubled up; A & C weeks meeting this week (December 5-9, 2016) and B & D weeks scheduled to meet next week (December 12-16, 2016). To meet the state’s ALE requirements and to keep our school in compliance, I am requesting families email or drop off their conferencing paperwork.

I must receive all of your paperwork on or before Friday, December 16, 2016.
The class website has links for you to download the conference form here: http://teacherweb.com/WA/Homelink/Eiseman/apt3.aspx

The calendar logs are not available for download at this time.
Thank you to the families who have already given me their December conference paperwork.
If you have questions, please email me.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Eiseman

Dear "D Week" Parents,
We have made a plan to address months with missing weeks and stay compliant with the state’s requirements.
To fulfill the October conferencing requirements please fill out the Pre-conferencing form that you received at our last (September) conference and send it in with your student this week.

You may also email the completed form to me. I will then complete my form and have you or your student sign it this week.
Next week is November's "D week" Fill out another conferencing form setting completion goals and learning targets for November. We will conference together next week as scheduled.
Please email me if you need additional information or have questions.
The conferencing form is attached in two different formats for your convenience.
Thank you for your cooperation and participation in meeting the monthly student learning requirements for our school.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Eiseman
