Mr. Powell has been at Idlewild for 8+ years. His first year at Idlewild was
in the special education resource program. The rest of the time he has been
in room 4, grade 3.

He graduated from Western Washington in 1979. He got his master's degree from
the University of Washington, Tacoma branch in 1998.
He is currenty single(divorced),living with two dogs, Molly and Piper. There
are also two cats that ive outside. Sometimes, Mike does not like the commute
from his lake cabin in Lacey to Idlewild.
