Parents, We will be sending home a weekly homework packet this year. This is to help you and your child work on the homework when it is convenient for you. The packets are due on the following Monday. Please remember to sign the parent signature on the reading homework and to emphasize "quality" work and writing complete sentences when needed. Remember the 2nd grade homework is set up so that both the students and the parents are involved in Read Alouds,problem solving,spelling... Here is a suggestion on how to divide up the homework: Monday-Read Aloud Lesson Tuesday-Weekly Spelling Words Wednesday-Math Homework Thursday-Review Spelling Words for Friday's test Fri.-Sun.-Read for 20 minutes *Reading/Writing Activity pages or unfinished work will occasionally be sent home to complete and return.
