VOTE FOR MRS. LEYDE
Mrs. Leyde and her family are entered in the Ultimate Cougar Fan contest in the Tri-City Herald.  Help her out and vote for her!!

CHANGES IN ROOM 62
After Thanksgiving break, we have a few changes that will occur.  The biggest one being that Mrs. Leyde will be back full time.  Mr. Piippo did a great job working with us and we will really miss him.  We will make sure to request him as a guest teacher any time Mrs. Leyde may have to be gone.  THANK YOU MR. PIIPPO!
 
The other changes will be that students will no longer be doing a Spelling Alphabox each week.  Mrs. Leyde is going to replace this with a different spelling assignment worked on in class during the spelling time.  If the assignment is not finished, then it will become homework.
 
Finally, we will be making a small change in what happens when Assignment Books are not signed.  This is a major tool of communication between home and school, as well as an organizing tool for students.  Please make sure to look for and sign them each night.  After not having it signed 3 different times, a student will then recieve Noontime Academy.

CONFERENCES
Conferences begin on Friday.  I look forward to seeing all of you then!
 
 
UPCOMING EVENTS
As the school year starts, there will be lots of information coming home.  Please make sure to read over all the papers and class newsletters that come home about twice a month.
