We know we're a few days late on this, but we've FINALLY posted the 5 Finalists for our Best Website contest on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TeacherWebInc. You have from now until midnight next Wednesday, May 22nd, to vote on your favorite. <h4 style="font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Identifying the sounds in words&nbsp;continues&nbsp;a strong&nbsp;second quarter focus.&nbsp; Listening for the different sounds in words are critical skills when learning how to read.&nbsp;Practice reading&nbsp;pretend words like bof or zam.&nbsp; These skills will be tested in the spring. &nbsp;Check out the link to take an AR quiz.&nbsp; Just type in the books title and&nbsp;take a quiz on books&nbsp;students have read or caregivers have read to students.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />Our math&nbsp;focus will be counting out objects to 31,counting to 100 and counting backward from 10.&nbsp;Joining and separating with 10 as a target, commonly known as addition and subtraction are a focus this next quarter.&nbsp;Look for opportunities during the day to practice these skills.<br /><br />Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or clarifications.&nbsp; The best&nbsp;time is between classes from 10:45 and&nbsp; 11:45.<br /><br />Thank you for your support!<br />Ms Brooks<br /></strong></h4><strong></strong>
