A graduate from the University of Arizona, Ms. Casberg has been teaching at
Lakes for six years.
To prepare students for the rigors of high school, including passing the
WASL, completing AP and College Prep courses, and to ensure students learn
the skills needed to be successful community members and world citizens.
Leaving my course, students will take with them the confidence required to
tackle university, college, and technical writing, creative whimsy, and
difficult fiction and non-fiction texts. A successful student will master the
delicate art of public speaking and rhetoric, persuasive and expository essay
writing, and critical analysis of literature--both modern and classic.
