What is the best time to contact Mr. Fisk?

Best contact times are after 12:45 p.m. I eagerly invite you to
stop in after school if you wish. It may be best to make an
appointment to ensure I am here when you stop in.

When can I get a progress report for my child?

Progress reports are available any time. They can be acquired by
providing me with an email address, or having your child request
one.

Are cell phones and electronics allowed in the classroom?

Absolutely not!!!! Cell phones are one of the BIGGEST foils to a
focused, learning classroom. Would it be wise to allow 20
people to walk into the classroom to deliver random messages
whenever they choose? Of course not. That would be
ludicrous and work against all the reasonable tenants of a
healthy, productive classroom. Yet this is the atmosphere that
cell phones create. Every call or text to a cell phone is an
interuption of learning. Therefore, to support student achievement,
I will deal seriously with any student that chooses to use a cell
phone or any electronic device during class.

How do I contact my teen if they are in class.?

Ideally students should not be contacted when they are in class,
emergencies always excepted. The cell phone should not be used.
The best idea is to know your child's schedule and call during
his or her lunch period or during passing times. If it is an
emergency, you should call the school office. They can either
deliever a note to your child's classroom, or they can place a
call to the teacher's in-room phone. Remember, if you choose to
place a call to the room, students' attentions are easily
disrupted and your call will disrupt the lesson and learning of
the class. Emergency interuptions are very much welcomed.
