Grades will be based on the completion of daily assignments, test/quiz grades, vocabulary, and projects.  Grades will be broken down as follows:

33% = Homework, class work, vocabulary, and daily openers

33% = Quizzes

34% = Unit projects and tests.

HOMEWORK

Most assignments will be due the following day.  Work not completed in class will need to be completed at home.  Some long-term assignments will be worked on at home and at school. Homework also includes studying for tests and quizzes.  You should expect to have at least a few problems for homework every night.  Homework assignments should be recorded in your Student Planner daily. NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED.

• Daily homework or class work will be given points based on the following scale:

92-100 = 10 points	42-51% = 5
82-91% = 9	32-41% = 4
72-81% = 8	22-31% = 3
62-71% = 7	12-21% = 2
52-61% = 6	1-11% = 1

• Students scoring a 6 or less may make corrections to improve their daily grade.  If your grade was a 5 or 6 you may make corrections to earn a 7.  If your grade was a 4 or less the most you can earn by making corrections is a 6.
