VISION STATEMENT:
Lochburn Middle School is a community that strives to promote an ongoing partnership between students, staff, and parents. Our members create an atmosphere of learning, growth, and communication in order to ensure student success. Our purpose is to develop citizens of integrity who reflect the core values of the community: academic excellence, diversity/tolerance, personal responsibility, contribution, and leadership.

At Lochburn we are excited by your student’s ongoing academic growth and look forward to working with you throughout the school year in this important effort. All Lochburn staff accept the responsibility of assisting your student to become college, career and citizenship ready. We encourage parents and the community to work in partnership with us in creating a learning community that is both safe and academically rewarding.
At Lochburn we pride ourselves in utilizing researched based practices that have been demonstrated to capture student interest and increase student academic success. Our staff remains current in best practices by committing to on-going professional development and the utilization of Measurements of Student Progress (MSP) and Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) data to promote student learning. Starting in the 2012 - 2013 School year Lochburn Middle School will implement the Web-based MAPs system to further enhance instructional support for Lochburn Middle School students.

This is a list of the bus numbers, routes, stops and pick-up times. Please make sure your child/ren are to the nearest stop on time.

The district has added two new online features for families this year.
1. Mealtime Online for student meal accounts for schools; and
2. InTouch Receipting System for payment of ASB and other general fees (fines, class fees, etc.) for middle and high schools.
 

Homeless Assistance

The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act was authorized by Congress in December 2001, as part of the No Child Left Behind Legislation. The purpose of the McKinney-Vento Act is to remove barriers to education for homeless/transitional students and provide educational stability.
