Hi! I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in Michigan
but the weather there was too cold in the winters and too hot in the summers,
so I moved out here to the beautiful Northwest where I think the weather is
perfect. I started my schooling at Peninsula College, and then transferred to
The Evergreen State College where I received both my Bachelor of Arts Degree and
Master in Teaching Degree (Go Geoducks!). This is my fourth year teaching at
Neah Bay Elementary and I love teaching the second grade! I also love the Neah
Bay community and feel honored to be a part of the exceptional staff at NBES
(which includes my husband, Seth Vanzant, who teaches the fifth grade). My
favorite activities are camping, fishing, hiking, and relaxing with my dog,
Bogie (who you’ll hear lots of funny stories about) and my kitty, Magic. My
most exciting news is that I'm Mr. Vanzant and I are expecting a baby girl
this May! We are thrilled!
