When is homework due?

Homework is due at the beginning of the day. If students are not
turning in their homework, I will notify you. Students will
progress much more quickly if they practice their work each day.

How does homework get home?

Homework will come home in a "homework folder" It should return
in the same folder each morning. If a student loses their
folder, they will need to provide their own folder. Homework
will not be allowed to go home in pockets, folded in the hand or
carried.

How will I know how my student is progressing?

I will send home a progress report and report card each quarter.
However, I don't think that is enough information for parents. I
will also call, write notes, and talk to you in person. If I
phone, it is not just to tell you if something is wrong. I love
talking to parents about accomplishments and successes.

Can I volunteer in the classroom?

YES!!! Your student will love to have you come and help in our
room. You can read to a student, help with math activities, do
an art project, check papers, or share any talent. It is my
favorite time of the week when Parents, Grandparents, Aunts,
Uncles, Brothers or Sisters join us for learning time. Please
feel free to call or stop by.
