Chapter 6/7: Division

Chapter 6&7: Division

In chapter 6 and 7 students learn division. We begin with recognizing that
division is like multiplication in that repeated addition and multiplication
are the same therefore repeated subtraction and division are the same. We
then move into multiplication and division being inverse operations which
create fact families just like addition and subtraction. Students will then
use this introduction to solve story problems that involve all four
operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
