Message from the Principal

Welcome to Oakbrook Elementary School,home of the Eagles! We are part the Clover Park School District. At Oakbrook, our faculty and staff provide a quality learning experience for all students with an emphasis on academic achievement, character development, responsibility and citizenship. We encourage families, friends and the community to be an active part of our process of helping our students become creative problem solvers, effective communicators and knowledgeable citizens. Throughout the school year, your child’s teacher and I will be making a special effort to stay in touch with you. We will keep you informed of your child’s progress and school activities. Look for papers coming home from school each day—newsletters, phone messages, and reminders.

I hope you will take part in your child’s education by inquiring about their time spent at school. Ask about their friends and teachers. Get involved as they complete their homework or seek your help on special projects. Encourage your child to read every night and quiz them on their math facts. I am confident that your child will demonstrate greater motivation as you continue to show interest in their academic and social experiences.
