In The News!
Language Arts:
Continue to encourage your student to read for 30 minutes each night. Ensure
they follow their reading by making connections for 5-10 minutes in their
reading log. Suggest that they challenge themselves to read on the weekend or
read with them. Read to succeed!
Social Studies:
We are currently learning about how people are special and about different
types of communities.
Our class also recently began participating in the Square Foot Nutrition Program.
Science:
Your student has been learning about Sound.
Math:
This Quarter, we have explored using place value to communicate and adding to
solve problems. Our next unit will explore using subtraction to solve
problems. You can get involved by helping support your student's efforts and
practicing the skills at home using the companion website.
