We're glad to have you join our second grade classroom. We have a few rules to help everyone get along and to create a positive learning environment.

In our classroom, every student begins each day with two cards called “Happy Faces.” Rules are as follows:

1. Listen carefully.
2. Follow directions.
3. Be polite to everyone.
4. Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
5. Put forth your best effort.

If the rules are broken, the following consequences occur:

First infraction … lose one Happy Face
Second infraction … lose second Happy Faces
Third infraction … loss of free time
Fourth infraction … note or phone call to parents
