Should I label my childs possessions?

Please label your childs backpacks, coats, and lunch boxes. Every year, we
donate several large bags of unclaimed clothing to Caring for Kids
(http://www.pierce.ctc.edu/carekids/index.htm).

How do I notify you about changes to my childs transportation?

Please let the teacher know by note or phone call to the front office, 583-
5350, of any changes about the way your child is transported to and from
school. Without a note, the school will continue to follow your original
plan.

What if I have a health concern for my child?

Please advise your childs teacher of any specific concerns. If your child
needs to take any medications in school, please let the teacher know and send
a note detailing dosage instructions that will be administered by the front
office. Children are advised to take any medication to the front office
immediately upon arrival to school. Medication must be in its original
prescription bottle.

Should I send in snacks to share with the class?

Please send a box or bag of something (pretzels, Chex-Mix, and Goldfish are
all great snacks) that we can share with the class. We have snack time daily
mid-morning. Students can also bring individual bags if they prefer not to
share in the class snack. For birthdays or other special occasions, please
let me know a day prior if you plan to send in an extra special snack to
share with the classroom.
