Park Lodge students vote for both the Washington State Children's
Choice Picture Book Award (grades K-3) and the Sasquatch Award (grades 4-5).
Books nominated for these awards have been hand picked by the Washington
Library Media Association (WLMA.)Students have the opportunity to listen to
and read the nominated books and then get to vote for their favorite each
spring. Our school's votes get sent to WLMA and are tabulated with votes from
other children in Washington State. Winners are announced in May/June. This
year's nominated books are listed below:
