Audition Order and Preparation:
Actors will audition for their “first choice” role.
Audition order:
Fairies (group audition) - dance to music provided by Ms. Van
Mermaids (group audition) - dance to music provided by Ms. Van
Lost Boys (group audition) - say the line Oh yes! We need a mother
Pirate Crew (group audition) – say the line Yo ho yo ho a pirate’s life for me
Jocko’s Clock – say the line tick tock tick tock
Girl – say the line Did you really fly, Grandma?
Boy – say the line Fairies are for girls
Nana – create the character of a dog and bark
Forest Nymphs – dance to music provided by Ms. Van
Tinkerbell – you do not need to audition, just turn in paperwork to Ms. Van
Ostrich – create the character and moves of an Ostrich
Penguin – create the character and moves of a Penguin
Peacock – create the character and moves of a Peacock
Speaking Part Preparation - the following characters need to:
•Read the script during recess (scripts are in the library)
•Copy down 2- 4 lines from your first choice character
•Prepare your presentation – think about how your character would move and
speak
•Prepare a song – either copy down some of the words from a song in the
script and create your own tune or sing a song you know.
