Standards for Written Work

  • Heading in the top right corner: First and Last Name, Date, Assignment Title
  • 8 ½ x 11 inch paper without torn notebook edges
  • If handwritten, select either blue ink, black ink, or pencil
  • All final essays and projects must be handwritten in pen or typed
  • If word processed or typed: Double or 1.5 line spacing, 12-point font, one standard font throughout (Architect, Arial, Times New Roman), and in blue or black ink

 

Work that does not follow these guidelines will not be accepted for credit. Students will have until the end of the day to make corrections and resubmit. Materials necessary to follow these guidelines are available in the classroom.
