About The Teacher
I moved across the country with my husband and eight year old daughter from Massachusetts over four years ago. I love to spend time with my family, hike, ski, travel and explore the Northwest. I love to read and play soccer. This summer has been exciting and went by way too fast! We did lots of fun day trips, swimming and hiking. There were two highlights of my summer. The first was that my sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew came for a weeklong visit. They have never been to the Northwest so it was a fun time visiting and showing them all around. We went to the mountains and the ocean and of course did some shopping! The second big thing of the summer was that we adopted a black lap puppy! My daughter named her Sasha and she has been keeping us very busy with house training and lots of walks! I have been teaching for 14 years. I completed my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I have my Master's degree in Special Education from Elms College. I love teaching. I believe all children can learn and we as teachers must find the way they learn best!
