I am so happy to beginning my third year at St. Anne. I grew up in the Pacific
Northwest and moved to Seattle, in 1994, to attend University of Washington. I
have a Master's in Teaching, and have taught kindergarten, first and second
grade over the past five years. My husband, Franz, and I were married 3 years
ago, and our son, Jasper, was born this past summer. We are so excited to be part the
St. Anne community. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one
of you. Together we can make this a fantastic year for your child!
My goal is to instill the joy of being a life-long learner within each of my
students. I encourage all of them to be active participants through
exploration and inquiry. I will create a community that is caring, respectful,
cooperative and safe that stimulates academic, social and emotional growth. I
love teaching first grade because this such an exciting time in the life of
your child. My mission is to play a positive role in helping them to become
the most successful individual that they can be.
