Dear 2nd Grade Families,
As many of you know, St. Anne School collects adult sized socks and gloves to donate to the
Homeless Dinner on December 14th. With the weather being as cold as it has been lately, these items
are as important as ever. If you are able please don’t forget to make this generous donation!
We have lots of exciting things going on this week in second grade. We will be continuing our trip
through Europe by visiting France and Italy. Students will learn about the importance of traditional
meals during the Christmas season as well as religious symbols such as the crèche in France, and
presepio in Italy.
On Tuesday we will be welcoming M.J. McDermott, Q13’s meteorologist. She will be speaking to us
about a meteorologist’s job and how they predict the weather. This will be an exciting addition to our
Weather Unit in Science!
