Venture Name: Project: Park Protection

Venture Members: Zack, Cortez, Nick Garcia, and Clifford

Venture Idea: To clean and preserve parks, to improve existing parks, and to promote healthy, outdoor lifestyles.

How Venture Helps Community: See venture idea

How We Will Determine Success: If we see more people at local parks and people showing interest in taking active roles in helping the environment.

Goals:

Goal 1: Biannually, we want to select which parks we will help and get permission by the owner of the park or the local government to be able to work on and at the park.

Steps:

1.   Find parks in area

2.   Choose which parks to work on for next 6 months

3.   Find owners of parks

4.   Set up date with owners to meet

5.   Meet with owner and ask permission to work on/in the park

6.   If fail, go to step 2

7.   If successful, plan out a series of this to work on at the park

8.   Propose work to owner

9.   If fail, go to step 7

Goal 2: Every other month, we will host a barbeque to raise money for us to help the parks. We will hope to raise $60* per barbeque that will go to at first supplies for cleaning and fixing things at parks. Later on, the money will go to saving for parks improvements.

Steps:

1.   Find how much interest there is in a barbeque

2.   Find costs/set budget/set what to buy for barbeque

3.   Set dates for barbeque

4.   Create flyers and distribute

5.   Purchase items for barbeque

6.   Set up and run barbeque

7.   Count earnings and decide what to use on

8.   Calculate success

9.   Plan for future

10.                 Go to step 1 in 1.5 months

In our group we have Nolan, Nate, Nick K, Flippy, James and Jacob.

 

The purpose of our group was to create a archery club because archery is a cool and fun sport that many people like and is also a great way to collect money for homeless shelters.

Overview: to create a student run store that would benefit students in the school and the school itÕs self. We will supply school supplies to students that forgot their pencils. We will also provide students with tutors.  

The 3 goals of our group are:

 

á      make $100 by first months end

á      3 students that want tutoring by 3rd months end

á      5 new balls for the school

 

Task:

3 find student tutors that would like to tutors

6survey middle school of what they want in the store
