Due Wednesday the 25th of November: Take-home essay test: Answer the following question:
What is the importance of engineering to the Egyptian people?
Areas to touch on: How was the nile used to help with building? What were major building projects
on the nile? Why was building so important to the Pharaohs? How were these building projects
related to the Egyptian gods? Finally how did these projects further human understanding of
mathematics, the medical field, and writing?

Due Tuesday the 3rd of November: By end of Class that day you should be done with slide show and
moved on to getting ready to present to class on Thursday
Due Tuesday the 27th of October: Each student needs to have at least five sources for their
individual
Egypt project. They also need to have pulled from each source what information they need.
