Social Studies 7th

Due Monday the 30th of November:  You need to find the following information for These Three 
Empires Byzantium Empire, Ottoman Empire, and Persian Empire:  List Modern-day countries, List 
religions, and list languages

Due Monday the 16th of November:  Read the Article found under my weblinks called: An Overview of 
the Crusades.  It is at the bottom.  This is an overview of what we will be studying the first half of the 
trimester.  You do not have to highlight or take notes.  However you may want to in order to help you 
have a grasp of the whole timeline we will be covering.

Due Friday the 6th of November:  Second Draft of Essay

Due Wednesday the 28th of October:  Make sure thesis is finished

Due Monday the 26th of October:  First rough draft complete

Due Monday the 19th of October:  You need five resources on the Roman empire and five resources on 
the country you chose.

Due Friday the 16th of October:  Re-do the "History of SLavery assignment"  you need examples in 
each answer.

Week of September 28th-October 2nd:  No Homework:  We will discuss Friday the 25th on Wednesday 
                           the 30th of September

Due Monday the 27th of September:  Outline Chapter 1 section 2 in Foundations of Geography

Due Friday the 25th of September:  Use "The History of Slavery" to answering the guiding questions on 
                                         the social studies Syllabus given in class

Due Wednesday the 23rd of September:  Finish outlining finish outline section one: "Five themes of 
                                                  Geography."

Due Monday the 21st of September:  NO HOMEWORK; Bring "The History of Slavery" to class

Due Friday the 18th of September:  Read and highlight important parts in "The History of Slavery"

Due Wednesday the 16th of September:  Read Chapter 13:  Pages 348-371- focus on the three types of 
Economies
