General Class Information

                             Curriculum

This year the students will be using a curriculum adopted by the school
district. Integrated Math II will use Core Plus 2 textbooks. General Math,
Connected Math 1 and 2 will use the Connected Math Project series. Both
textbooks series complement each other by using investigations and group
collaboration to foster critical thinking and questions to facilitate the
application of skills to concepts. Students learn to communicate their
reasoning and strategies via discussion and writing so that their
mathematical understanding can be deepened, which helps with concept
retention and making connections between mathematical topics and across
other subject areas.
