Curriculum
This year the students will be using a curriculum adopted by the school
district. Integrated Math II will use Core Plus 2 textbooks. General Math,
Connected Math 1 and 2 will use the Connected Math Project series. Both
textbooks series complement each other by using investigations and group
collaboration to foster critical thinking and questions to facilitate the
application of skills to concepts. Students learn to communicate their
reasoning and strategies via discussion and writing so that their
mathematical understanding can be deepened, which helps with concept
retention and making connections between mathematical topics and across
other subject areas.
Expectations
Parents and students, please familize yourself with school procedures and
rules. These can be found in the student handbook given to all middle school

this website for missed assignments or a classmate, then see me for due

**Assignments are not accepted after Monday Of the following week, unless
prior arrangememnts were made. Points will be deducted from late work,
excluding excused absences.

Homework
Homework assignments and upcoming tests will be listed under the period of
math your student is enrolled. Please visit it frequently. When homework is
assigned, it is due the following school day for review. The assignments
from the previous week are collected on Mondays for grading. Therefore, you
and your student have access to them through the weekend to make corrections
