Room #17 News December 14, 2009 Theme for the week—Jesus and Christmas Letters and sounds—Oo and Vv Letter for sharing—No Sharing this week Dear Parents, God loved us so much that He sent his son to be the Savior of the world! I hope you all have a blessed time celebrating the birth of Jesus. Happy Birthday Jesus Christmas party—This Friday, December 18th— We will be decorating Gingerbread houses and have our gift book exchange. Each child will need to bring a wrapped book for the gift exchange that day. The book should cost less than $5.00. Please wrap it and label it with at tag saying whom it is from. Thank you to all who have provided supplies for our Gingerbread houses. We will also be discussing the gift your child chose to give to Jesus. If your child has not yet returned the envelope, please have them do so by this Wednesday. J **Friday--Regular schedule for half day students and early release at 2:00 p.m. for all others. Half-day students are welcome to stay until 2:00 p.m. J January would be a good time for our half-day students to consider adding a full day or two to their schedule. Just let the office know. J Christmas Break— December 19—Jan 3 School Resumes—January 4 Dad’s Day—Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 9:15-9:45 All dads and/or other male relative (if dad is unavailable) are invited to come and share with the class what they do at their jobs.
