Second Quarter---
The following should be turned in: book review rough draft, summary of King
Arthur story--absentees were given this as homework--(We did this in groups
the day before Thanksgiving break.), illuminated letter, name poem typed and
mounted and turned in with the letter, stained glass window, 3.3.
Last week we took a history quiz on Chapter 2 worth 21 points. Most kids did
well, but those that did not study can retake the test this week. Both grades
wil be averaged together. If a student does not make arrangements with me to
retake it, I will assume they are happy with their grade.
We are currently working on Chapter 4 of the history book, practicing an act
of the play, "A Sword in the Stone" in small groups, and one class just
finished listening to the read aloud which was "A Midwive's Apprentice."
Last week we did some focused paragraph writing.
