• Listen to others
• Use words, tone of voice, and voice levels that are kind, polite and appropriate for the situation
• Raise your hand to share ideas in class
• Be open to ideas other than your own
• Sharpen pencils unobtrusively (without drawing attention to yourself)
• The teacher ends the class, NOT the CLOCK (wait to be dismissed)
• Backpacks can be left along the hallway outside the classroom door
• If you need to be out of your seat for a valid learning purpose that will not interfere with the current lesson: get up and do your task without involving any other member of the class

Be Responsible:

• Be in your seat and ready to begin before class starts
• Bring planner, pencils, math book, and other supplies to class everyday
• Do all homework and projects (and turn them in)--with your NAME on them!
• Make up absent work in a timely manner
• Check Skyward Family Access WEEKLY
• If you're absent, get a copy of the handout from the "extra handouts" file AND check the website
• Sign out policy: we use the sign out page in the planner

• Keep backpack on back of chair or tucked under table
• Keep hands to yourself
• Think before you act--this includes walking in the classroom
• Enter a classroom only when an adult is present
