As we begin the new year with our spiffy new laptops, we are also piloting a new way to sign up for
library, lab, and activity room time. Whereas before, you would sign up for slots on the calendars
in the library hallway, now simply sign in to First Class from your laptop.
On the desktop where you find your little mailbox, you will see an icon marked "Marshall Middle
School." Clicking on that icon will take you to shared calendars for the libraries, labs, and
activity rooms.
You can view the calendars as days, weeks, or months. Find the timeslot that you are looking for
and fill in your name and the times or class periods that you need. Be sure not to step on the toes
(or times) of other sign-ups!

plan a short training on the shared calendar feature soon. I hope this method will be easy and
convenient for all of us.
