| GRADES NOTES (10/10/08):
All families should now be able to access their grades via Family Access.
Remember, if you have any trouble with logging in, please check to see if
you've confused a letter 'I' for a number '1', or the same with zero and
letter 'o'. The best way to avoid this potential problem is to copy the login
and password from the email in which you received them directly in to the
login and password places on the family access page. Again, this will be the
primary way that all MMS parents should be tracking the progress of their
students.
By the way, grades with an asterisk mean the student is either excused or I'm
only crediting for those who are done, without discrediting those who did
something else.

Notes for Math Parents and Students:
Please stay up to date with your assignments. They should be done as you walk
in the day after they are assigned. If you get stuck, it's okay. Just set
the problem up as best you can, and then write down two things you tried to do
to get unstuck, and have a parent initial that problem. Leave space to fix it
the next day in class.
Parents, please have your students show the assignments below to you REGULARLY
(at least weekly, or more often if you like). I'm making a change as to how I
check for parent initials that tasks are completed. At the end of each
Investigation, I'll put a note below when I'd like your initials next to each
task indicating you've seen your child's work.
Below you will find the list of problems and worksheets that should be in
students' notebooks. They should be completed and nicely presented within a
day of the assignment date:
