Volunteer Opportunities
Parents & Family Members:
Regular Volunteer Opportunities--
Each year I look for several adult family members of students to do
regular volunteer work in the classroom.
Tasks include:
*Prepping/cleaning up science lab materials
*Prepping supplies/handouts
*Hanging/Displaying student work
*Help me maintain my website
*Working with small groups of students on math skills
*Assisting in regular classroom activities
If you can commit to 1 or more hours per week and a consistent
time this usually works best, but flexibility is also possible. I
appreciate any time and energy you have to give.
Occasional Volunteer Opportunities--
Each October & March Science students take field trips to monitor the
water quality of local streams. Some parents of McLane students may
have done this before. Whether this is new or familiar, these field
trips cannot occur without help from family members like you!
Please look here to find other opportunities to participate in our
classroom--I will update throughout the year.
