Mrs. L. Johnson 6th Grade Science

Spring is here and so is the last quarter of the school year. As spring begins, so does preparing for several tests; our final benchmark test (MBA#3), our state test, (MSP) as well as our final MAP test. Please ask your child about their learning and support them any way you can. Homework is assigned in Math 4 days a week and is now included on their progress report. Please access Skyward to check your childs' progress at any given time. I will be sending home a paper copy of your childs progress report every two weeks.  Please be sure to discuss this with your child, sign it, and have your child return it to me.

I am very fortunate this quarter to have an outstanding student teacher from Central Washington University.  Mrs. Palmer is in her final quarter of college and will be taking over my classes very soon.  She will be with us until the end of May.

Our 6th grade scientists are at the tail end of learning about Space.  We are currently learning about the Sun, Earth, Moon relationship.  Our next unit will be the Diversity of Life, where students will learn about unicellular and multicellular organisms!
