What can I do to help my child with homework?

Provide your child with a quiet place to work on homework. Homework is only
sent home if there is a reasonable expectation that students should be able
to complete it without the help of parents. If your child is not able to
complete the homework, then it is important that they communicate this to
me. If you would like to send a note to help explain what was difficult,
then that would be helpful.

Can I help out on field trips?

Yes, we would love to have help on field trips. When we are in need of
parent volunteers, I will send home announcements with information. Some
field trips only require a couple of volunteers, while others require
several. Before accompanying us on a trip, you must have your paperwork
cleared with the school office, so please take care of this well in advance
of a field trip so that you are able to attend.
