Mission of the PTO

The mission of the PTO is to foster cooperative interaction allowing 
students of Auburndale Schools to achieve their fullest potential.   

PTO goals for the 2007-2008 school year are:
  Sponsor six family-friendly activities
  Facilitate the improvement of the school playgrounds to include replacement 
     of unsafe play pieces and improvement of accessibility
  Provide support for in-school activities (reading programs, special 
     speakers and programs)
  Continue to improve the PTO volunteer program
  Host staff appreciation events and activities
  Improve communication with staff and school board
