Greetings! My name is Mr. Jeremy La Mont. I received my high school diploma from Adams-
Friendship High School and my post-secondary education was received at UW – La Crosse. My
teacher career began at Montello Jr/Sr High School where I stayed for 5 years. Some of my
accomplishments at Montello include implementing a successful jazz program, increasing member
pride, and inspiring young students to continue with their music education into the university level.
My current position at Auburndale includes elementary, junior high, and high school bands.
I am looking forward to another year at Auburndale and hope to see many of the Auburndale
community members at the upcoming concerts. Continue to look for updated information about the
bands as the school year progresses.
Through the study of music, students will continually develop the following
individual character traits: self-expression, self-motivation, and self-
discipline, along with the following social character traits, leadership,
and the ability to follow another’s leadership.
