$.10 per day for a maximum fine of $.50 per book.

Unfortunately, a lost security card will cost the borrower $5.00 so be very CAREFUL.

How long do I have before a book is overdue?
When you check out a book, you have two weeks and one day or fifteen days to return or renew the 
books.  But there is a built-in, two-day grace period after the due date stamped on your white card.  
The fine does not start until after the two-day grace period.
