This is my 20th year as the High School Counselor in the Auburndale School District.
Prior to coming to Auburndale I taught Industrial Arts and Driver Education at Wilmot H.S. and at
Clayton H.S. I also spent two years as a Guidance Counselor in the Pecatonic School District. I
obtained my B.S. in teaching at UW-Stout and also received my M.S. in Counseling from UW-
Stout.
The mission of the Auburndale Developmental Guidance Program is to provide students with
learning experiences and challenges in educational thinking, personal and social relationships
and career awareness. This program supports, facilitates and encourages classroom instruction
and student achievement.
Our Developmental Guidance Program is proactive and preventive in focus. It assists students
in acquiring and using life-long learning skills. It is based on the Wisconsin Developmental
Model and is updated as needed to reflect the changing needs of our students.
