Fairy / Folk Tale Book Project

Our second graders are responsible for three book projects during the school year. The theme for the 2nd Trimester Book Project was "Fairy Tales and Folk Tales." In reading class the children read and discussed various fairy tales and folk tales. Their long term assignment was to read another Fairy or Folk Tale based on their own culture, and then create a VISUAL DISPLAY as well as give an ORAL PRESENTATION on the Tale they chose to read.
