Week of May 14 to 18, 2012
We completed all of the Spelling Units for second grade, so there will not be any more Spelling assignments.
We have also completed all of the Units in the Journeys series. This week we will be taking the final Unit Assessment. We will be working in the Journeys Reading Adventures booklet reviewing the skills that we have covered throughout the year.
In Writing, we will continue to work on enhancing the skills needed to use the Writing Process. We will be focusing on organization, word choice and conventions.
In Science, we are working on the unit –Habitats – Animals Grow and Change.
This week we will continue to work on Unit 6 in Social Studies. We are learning about early settlers in this country.
Snacks this week: Chex Mix, veggis chips, chips & salsa, Goldfish crackers and vanilla wafers.
