| | Looking for some ideas to encourage reading in your family? Check out the
Wisconsin State Reading Association (WRSA) calendar of ideas! Establish
your own family reading day! Celebrate an author's birthday! There is
always a reason to read. Other book lists are not necessarily in the Holy
Apostles Library or recommended by the school. The lists are provided to
encourage children and teens to read for fun and enjoyment. Parents should
always be aware of the content of the books their child is reading.
If you find a book you like – contract Mrs. Wildner to ask her if the book
is in the school library. Or, go directly to the New Berlin Public Library
search catalog to see if you can pick it up at the public library!
There are many book recommendation websites available online. Here are a
few that will help match interests and books. Wisconsin State Reading Association - Families and Literacy Calendar of Ideas
