SCRIPTURE SLEUTH
*This is extra credit for Religion. Each day a new clue is posted in our
classroom that describes a person, place or event from the Bible.
Currently, all answers can be found in the Old Testament.
Last Week's Answer: Ruth
Monday, December 14: He was a very handsome youth. He is described as
"ruddy, with a fine appearance and handsome
features."
Tuesday, December 15: He is known for his strength and courage. When he was
young, he killed bears and lions who tried to attack
the sheep he tended for his father.
Wednesday, December 16: He played the harp for King Saul when Saul was
troubled. His playing would often soothe the king.
Thursday, December 17: When he was a boy, he defeated a Philistine giant
with just a slingshot and a stone.
