| Please try to read frequently over the summer. Reading will help maintain
all the skills we have worked on this school year. It will help keep their
decoding skills and comprehension skills sharp.
Please try to work on the Math Chapter for 13 to 18 facts and an occasional
practice of the addition and subtraction facts to 12. This will help prepare
them for a strong start to 2nd Grade.
Please try to give them opportunities to write. Thank you notes, vacation
journals, creative stories are all great ways to keep their writing skills on
target.
Thank you for all your help with homework this school. You have made a great
difference in your child's education!
