We've been working hard in the computer lab on our Reseach Projects, and
students are now in the process of customizing their websites. Each student
has been given a log in and password to a generic website created on Google.
Ask them to show you their work on the World Wide Web.
To be safe, student names will not be included anywhere on the websites. I
will monitor content as time allows, and students should only be using the
website for their projects.
So far, your child has (or should have) completed: Research using printed
books, online encyclopedias, primary sources, and internet sources;
Notetaking (paraphrases, summaries, and direct quotes); created an outline
using Inspiration; composing written text with revision.
We will begin website presentations on TUESDAY, MAY 22. That is when the
project is "due."
