About The Teacher
I was born and raised in the city of Chicago, but now I enjoy the relaxed lifestyle of a small town. I still visit the Windy City frequently to see my family. I attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, and I began my teaching career in Sun Prairie. I have taught in the School District of Jefferson for 12 years, including ten years at Jefferson High School. I love teaching 7th graders. I remember my own 7th grade literature teacher with fondness. When I was in 7th grade, I already knew I wanted to become a teacher. My favorite books include Jane Eyre and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. My hobbies include swimming, reading and spending time with my family (my husband, my children and my dog). She loves nature and being outdoors. This summer I saw the Eagles (a rock band, not a sports team) in Chicago with my mother and attended a Brewers vs. Cubs game at Wrigley Field.
