Welcome to our class home page. This is where you will find information that pertains to our class. I will try to keep you posted on the happenings in Room 150.
Thanks so much for attending the Open House. I loved meeting all of you and I look forward to a great year with your children.
Wednesday is our library day. Please make sure all library books are back to school by each Wednesday. Miss Keezer will get the books in the morning so that she can check them in before we head to the library in the afternoon.
As I send work home that has been done in school you may note that either your child or I have written a CW at the top of the some pages. This stands for classwork. We did the work in class as a group. This might help you see what your child is doing independently and what is a team effort. I do a lot of modeling and work with the kids to start out so you will see the CW a lot.
Your child will have a chance to have a milk break in the morning. If you would like your child to have a small snack with their milk you are welcome to send something with your child. A granola bar, cereal, crackers, or a piece of fruit would be great choices. We will not be sharing snacks with each other this year. What your child brings is for your child. We will give this a try and see how it goes. You are always welcome to send a snack for the entire class for special occasions. We love to eat in 2nd Grade!!!
