New Hope Christian School Athletic Department

New Hope Christian School is busy getting ready for another great basketball season. Please use this site throughout the season to check for updates to games/practices/information etc.

The 5/6th grade boys will be coached by Mr. Urban. In 5/6th grade the boys are learning the game and developing their skills in basketball. Boys can be expected to play more during these years as they are learning the game.

The 7/8th grade boys will be coached by Mr. Urban. In 7/8th grade the boys have developed their basketball skills and now are playing in a more competitive environment. The boys can expect to play less than they did in 5/6th grade, as they have entered into a more competitive level.

The 5th-8th grade girls team will be coached by Mr. MacKenzie and Mr. Thone. Since the girls are playing on a mixed team they will be playing more 7/8th grade girls. The 5/6th grade girls will have a few games for them to play alone and play against other schools with a 5/6th grade team. For the other games the 7/8th grade girls can expect to play more as the level is more competitive. The 5/6th graders are there to play when they are in a successful situation and learn the game from the older girls.
