You're getting to the point now where you're almost done! I would like you
to check out a Gary Paulsen book from the library at the junior high, or one
from my classroom library. You may also use the district library if need be.
Once you have checked out a book, please show it to me so I can record
your name and book title. It must be a Gary Paulsen book that you have not
read yet. You will be required to do a book conference on the book you
choose, which will count as one of your four books for the quarter. Upon
completion of your book, you need to write Gary Paulsen a letter in
the friendly letter format. You will have until the end of the quarter to
read the book, do the book conference, and complete the letter, so get to
work!
