Quarterly Book Report Projects

Reading is to the brain what exersize is to the body!

Each quarter the students in our class complete a Quarterly Book Report Project. Ms. Tierney-Ley assigns a project at the beginning of each quarter. We read our books at home, complete a book report project at home, and share our projects at the end of the quarter. Here is a list of our projects:

TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF OUR COMPLETED PROJECTS 

 

For the month of September, we created Memory Bags about the fiction books we read. We put objects in the bags that represented the elements in the story. We also wrote about how each object signified each element.

During the month of October, we each read a mystery book. Then we created a Wanted Poster for the main character in the story.

 

We made a Person Book Report for the months of November and December. We created one character from the story and wrote what happened during the beginning, middle, and end of the fantasy book.
