WEATHER
REPORT DAY
After learning how to make weather maps
and forecast the weather during our "Weather" science unit, each student in
our class had the opportunity to be a meteorologist during Weather Report Day.
We each made a Wisconsin weather map which included high and low temperatures
for six Wisconsin cities, clouds, cold or warm fronts, and other weather
symbols. We also wrote a weather forecast to go along with the map.
Invitations were sent to all of our parents to watch our live weather reports
on "The Weather Channel."
PHOTOS OF FAMOUS METEOROLOGISTS
"Justin High" and "Pamela Coolkey" were
the Weather Channel newscasters.
"It looks like we're in for some cool
temperatures."
"A cold front from the west is moving into
Central Wisconsin."
"The high temperature for today in Rosholt
will be 99 degrees. So lather on the sunscreen!"
"Thanks for watching The Weather Channel."
